Because Christian America is supposed to help fulfill the prophecy that two prophets will lie dead, killed in the streets of Jerusalem, in order to usher in the second coming of Jesus. This can't happen if Israel isn't in place in the middle of ass-backwards-ville.

I'm still confused by this Christian American thing. Aren't Christians supposed to live by the Ten Commandments which are banned from public discourse because they are religious? I seem to remember something like Thou Shalt Not Kill somewhere in there... Or maybe that's a different Christian country I'm thinking about. Lichtenstein?

If the Palestinians weren't bottled up in concentration camps this problem would be much reduced.

If the Palestianians would stop harboring the terrorists who fire rockets into Israel the problem would be much more reduced. The dumbasses should have learned long by now that when Hamas attacks Israel, Israel is going to retaliate, and when Palestinians act as human shields and allow Hamas to headquarter in their neighborhoods there's going to be civilian casualties. If they don't want to be attacked, then they should throw Hamas out.

Christian Millinnalism has nothing at all to do with this. This is about supporting an ally against a sworn terrorist group who is dedicated to killing both Israelis and Americans.

You're off on the time-line. You forgot that the Beast anti-Christ and the False Prophet will rise first to rule the world and will persecute the Christians. The False Prophet will cause everyone to worship the Beast and to receive a mark in their right hands or in their foreheads, and no one will be able to buy or sell unless they have the mark or the "number" of his name. The two prophets will rise afterward to witness against the anti-Christ for a period of 3 1/2 years and will have power to strike the Earth with as many plagues as they will against all those who worship the anti-Christ and who receive the "mark" of his name. After that 3 1/2 years period the Beast anti-Christ will be able to kill the two Prophets and their bodies will lay in the streets of Jerusalem for three and a half days. After that God will raise them back to life and they will stand upon their feet and be taken into heaven in the sight of all the Earth to see. Seven years after the Beast anti-Christ and the False Prophet first rose to power, they will gather their armies together to do battle against the returning Christ and his army of angels at Armageddon, (Megido). The Beast anti-Christ and the False Prophet will be taken alive and cast into the Lake of Fire to be tormented day and night, forever and ever. The Devil will be chained and cast into a bottomless pit for a thousand years. Jesus will regin on the Earth from Jerusalem and there will be a thousand years of peace. Afterward, the Devil will be loosed from the bottomless pit to go abroad in the Earth and gather together all the nations, Gog and Magog and do one final battle.
