I was born on California but my family moved out before I was even out of diapers. But, I've been to more cities and places in California than I have to two states I've lived the majority of my life in, Oregon and Colorado. I've given directions to tourists in San Francisco despite never having lived there and the California coast line is more familiar to me that Oregon's. Still, I've lived in seven states and been to 43 of them and there is no place I'd rather be than here. I'm a mountain boy and while lots of places have mountains, none of them are the Rocky Mountains! If any of you ever come to Denver and need a local guide, let me know!

St. Helens, it's about 20 miles NNE as the crow flies, but I can't see it from my property due to the stand of mature timber on a slight ridge to the north. Salem, eh? Hmmm, what can I say nice about Salem?... I got nothin'. LOL RE: Home sweet home...

There's a stand of timber between you and a gorgeous view? My god man, don't you own an axe?

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Thanks Mario. I was surprised that you weren't American for some reason
