This lunacy brought to you by your good theocratic friends of the right wing SCOTUS.

RE: Refusing to hire gay people
I hope Obama is stupid enough to insert the language they're requesting. Being a Federal issue will see it much quicker to the Supreme Court, and I'm willing to bet that they'd strike it down, establishing precedent in affirming equal rights for gays.

The anti-gay crowd are overplaying their hands, and the spate of pro-lgbt rulings across the country clearly demonstrate. Something this obviously unjust would only further mobilize and catalyze civil-rights supporters, and only give us freethinkers even further ammunition to paint theists as bigots.

Bring it on, I say.

No need, the fed handled that for us already. "Get off mah storefront christer trash! I refuse to subsidize your degenerate lifestyle choice with my services."
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

No, you hit the nail on the head.

Our Federal Constitution's Amendment #1 states "Congress shall make no law establishing a religion"

Playing favorites for one religion over another is a blatant violation of our Constitution. The Supremes tried to spell out in their ruling that this was only a special exception for religious beliefs about birth control but they can't do that.

I suspect that had the Hobby Lobby case been about a Muslim owned business wanting to make their female workers wear a hajib, the ruling might have gone differently.

Then your government is doing it wrong.

lol....Who was it said that americans could be counted on to do the right thing, after we'd tried everything else first?

This is what happens when you have people in power who care about promoting an agenda more than about public service. These aren't judges who thoughtfully and impartially interpret the law in terms of how it squares with the Constitution. These are at best ideologues.
