Would the world be better off if we all died? Well, it wouldn't be better off for either of us because we'd be dead...so no. Maybe it'd be better for panda bears but fuck them.
As to your whole "I want to kill youth pastors" nonsense, shit, don't ya think they've been suckered just like you were? Be grateful you learned to see through it...or don't, and remain bitter and unhappy.

And the whole of the rest of the world isn't doing a great deal to help... The other argument is that it's ok to be selfish, look after ourselves and our AAA economy and our lifestyles. I s'pose that IS the natural law of the jungle. As long as we don't profess to have morality evolved too much from the apes.

We should start a thread on this. It's ok to be selfish, we are selfish. many people try to help, we just note the bad ones a lot more, but there are lots of people who try do help minimally with the world's problems.

There are times that all of us get tired and question everything about life and living. I count myself as very fortunate to have this life, with all of it's pain, sorrow, happiness, etc. I also went through a self inflicted "hell" with fundamental beliefs and now am basking in the cool refreshment of realizing the truth about superstition and religion and have rid myself of all of its' tenets. It's not unusual to feel what you are feeling and its' like discovering that there is no Santa Claus or tooth fairy when very young. I would suggest reaching out to others and girding yourself with a support system and make an effort to enjoy your life as it is most definitely worth living. Expand your conscience and read some of Richard Dawkins works as that will help you gain a perspective of life disencumbered with superstitious belief. I say this with all sincerity as it is possible to fall into depression after being subjected to what you've described. The best to you and I hope you prevail! YES! kill em all, burn the bastards! Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason.
Ref. Post #1: That sounds like something a suicide bomber or mass murderer might think. It might be a good idea to chill before you talk yourself into wigging out. The less craziness in the world the better it is for everyone who isn't crazy.
