90% of the worlds population live in fairly squalid conditions.
It is the greed of the other 10% which ensures that it remains that way. That's us, the western world, with our iphones, v8 cars, etc.
Greed is a normal human condition, it is a subset of our survival instincts. So for the foreseeable future, I can't see it getting any better.
Maybe in 1000 years or more?

So right now, If we killed all life on earth, how many billions will not suffer at our expense. I think it's a small price to pay.
I can't stand suffering. We have created a world where there is a huge net sum of suffering. By created I mean, those in power, have the power to change anything and everything but like all Café Christians, we choose the path of least resistance to our lifestyle.

So it's better to kill everyone and end suffering? Better than changing the system? By the way, applying your line of thoughts we could just execute people in 3rd world countries, no need to kill those who live with dignity. And why can't I live and enjoy my staying here just because others have it much worse? That's something I'll never understand. 'Hey son don't waste food, kids in Africa don't have any...' 'But dad, if I I eat my food is it going to make kids in Africa eat more?...'... Yeah right

I can't see suffering stopping anytime soon.
And the whole of the rest of the world isn't doing a great deal to help...

I think so because life is pretty pointless, just work to go home and rest and work again. and I HATE those kids who have near death experience and talk about being in heaven I wish we could stomp their faces in. I used to believe in heaven but now I realize its all delusional bullshit and life sucks too much and no heaven could make up for it and more or less everyone on the planet is pretty much a douchebag so there's no way we are made in gods image (unless god too is a douchebag). people try to act all nice but the only thing keeping people in check is fear of punishment.

Also I agree now with the atheist view on heaven - the concept of heaven is complete bullshit! It would suck to live forever, even at my age I feel like I've lived too long and am looking forward to just getting out of this crappy world. Imagine having to be forced to live for all eternity, even if it was perfect it would still get boring as hell.

I think not existing is the best heaven and better than life on this planet or better than life ever could be in jesus land. Also considering how much pollution humans create and ruin the environment the planet would be better off without humans as well.

Also after all the bullshit in the last several years theres no way i can be convinced god exists and if i have one more person give me that "none can fathom" or "everything happens for a reason" line I will blow a head gasket. those lines worked on me when I was 16 and kept trying to convince myself, but after seeing life for 20 more years after that its all complete BS and I wish we could just execute every youth minister/pastor on this planet so no kid has to go through the hell i went through.

I'm coming off of a few months of 12 hour shifts and am tired as all get out. There are times that all of us get tired and question everything about life and living. I count myself as very fortunate to have this life, with all of it's pain, sorrow, happiness, etc. I also went through a self inflicted "hell" with fundamental beliefs and now am basking in the cool refreshment of realizing the truth about superstition and religion and have rid myself of all of its' tenets. It's not unusual to feel what you are feeling and its' like discovering that there is no Santa Claus or tooth fairy when very young. I would suggest reaching out to others and girding yourself with a support system and make an effort to enjoy your life as it is most definitely worth living. Expand your conscience and read some of Richard Dawkins works as that will help you gain a perspective of life disencumbered with superstitious belief. I say this with all sincerity as it is possible to fall into depression after being subjected to what you've described. The best to you and I hope you prevail!
