You know, what really amuses me is that this pact with the Devil supposedly happened 200 years ago. So, apparently, if you make a Deal with Satan, there'll be hell to pay, but God will wait two centuries to do anything about it. I hope it doesn't take 200 years to rectify Spiderman's recent deal with the devil.

Peter Popoff is the man!! This piece of crap con artist used to preach all over American television and had a huge following due to his apparent miraculous connection to the divine. He was a faith healer and supposedly he would call people out of the audience by name or home address or social security number etc. And he could tell you what ailments you had before you spoke a word.

All of these apparent miraculous events in his ministry got the attention of master debunker James Randi and he began investigating Peter Popoff. After following him around for awhile he found out that his wife was passing info to him through a wireless ear piece that she got from prayer request cards that the attendees that arrived early were asked to fill out. He then intercepted and recorded the transmission signal that Popoff was using and made a tape of him preaching with the extra audio overlapping the regular audio and played it on the Johnny Carson show. Popoff lost everything and was exposed as a fraud. He was not heard of for years and then amazingly he is back and doing the same thing. He has his broadcast back on television and is at it again.

Well, Pat Robertson sure as hell is a blessing in disguise for the US. And a good disguise that is too. 'Cause when he is finished leveling all intellectual effort in the states with his tsunami of stupidity the US gets a nice opportunity to rebuild the whole structure from the ground up.
