I don't tend to watch movies like that. I like horror movies, not unnecessarily gory movies.

Becausr splatter movies tend to go for shock value and have weak storylines.

Fulfilling the dream of a lifetime, a man gets a seat at the World Cup Final, right at the halfway line. The seat next to him is vacant, so he asks the man across from him if someone will be sitting there.

'No,' says the man.

'That's strange.  Who would pay for a seat at the World Cup and not use it?'

'Actually, that seat was for my wife. She passed away after we bought the tickets.'

'Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss.  But couldn't you have brought someone else, a friend or maybe a relative?'

'Nah. They're all at her funeral.'
