Alright people, here's mine. Losty, there's a special reminder treat for you at the end. The very definition of GPOY.

And, as promised:

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

To be honest I don't think mine is that pronounced, but then, I meet new people from other places in England and they all instantly know I'm a brummie. Thinking

Not pronounced at all, no. You can hear it in some words tho. I'm used to black country where my wife comes from, and I think of that as proper brummie

After referencing Urban Dictionary for my translative needs, I was pleased to discover the meaning of GPOY... and have I determined that your pic is gratuitous indeed, toned and gratuitous. Wink

I thought people from the Black Country were Yam Yams and they generally don't like being called Brummies? Most of the people I've met from there didn't like being called Brummies at least.

Yeah, Yam Yams are the stereotype of what most people think Brummies sound like, but in reality we don't sound like them all that much I don't think. People think Brummies sound thick, what they usually think of when they say that is Yam Yams.

No they hate it. To me... There's no grass now between all these satellite towns and Birmingham, and even though it's slight, the accent is just most exaggerated in the black country.

I taught my daughter to say: "a cawn a cheeps an a feesh cayk pluys". She says it perfectly. Cracks me up Smile
