Weak analogy fallacy. I don't see any contradiction. First of all, what do you mean by being progressive? And second, my anti-theism doesn't seek to take away people's rights of believing, I can make critics without persecuting anyone, something fundies have trouble doing

Progressive: anti-war, anti-death penalty, socialist care for the needy, pro-rights, etc.

By telling someone they aren't a good religious observer by actually being progressive, then you don't really care about being a progressive. A progressive would encourage a believer to adopt progressive values.

Anyone who believes in democracy will be pro-rights, right wing or left wing. I'm a libertarian right wing so I'm not a fan of socialist care, but I'll admit some is necessary. I don't think being a progressive is strictly connected with those traits though.

So you're saying we should just shape religious teachings to fit society? Isn't that pretty much creating a new religion?

Is that an American term? I saw a show in San Diego called Boomers, so I assume it meant those who lived through the 1960s and 1970s as teenagers. Moslem is how I try and convert my language into English.

Yeah- "Baby Boomer" is an American term, I believe, and it refers to the post-WWII rise in birth rate. "Moslem" was the way media spelled the word during the Baby Boomer era, and it's actually considered disrespectful by Muslims. A lot of people use the term "Moslem" to be deliberately disparaging toward Islam.

As I've noted before, LDS in less than 200 years has 'fissioned' over a hundred times.

Even the Amish have had a big blow up over the width of their hat brims!

So the unicorn colour conjecture is hardly an exaggeration.
