For all of you who don't know her Sarah Elizabeth Cupp is an American conservative atheist (conservative an atheist yeah right those two terms are contradictions but anyway) political commentator and writer.
She is on Fox News all the time talking about how only Christians have morals. Really. She wrote Why You're Wrong about the Right: Behind the Myths and Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media's Attack on Christianity.

I don't see any contradiction between conservatism and atheism. I'm economically conservative and I'm an atheist, and I've met atheists who are socially conservative, the prime example being my father in law (and he is a very strong atheist, completely certain, when my mum is away he bashes religion all the time)

Atheism is a lack of belief or belief that no gods exist. Conservatism is a political orientation. Atheism is not a political orientation at all. Both are not exclusive.

But I do agree that woman is not an atheist, more like some religious propaganda and such

You can be a conservative atheist. It's just that most aren't. Not that she's much of an atheist. I'm not even sure why she'd claim to be one when she says things like that.

And you are right. There is no obligation for an atheist to be politically liberal, that's just a stereotype, just like some Christians can be socialists. I don't have an obligation to be a liberal just because I'm an atheist, in fact I'm economically and fiscally conservative as I have already stated several times, despite being socially liberal, but the later is an orientation I opted for because of my conscience and principles, not because of my atheism.

However I support your right to choose the political faction or ideology that you desire. But I just want to point out the contradictions that I find in conservatism and atheism(Well technically showing you a video that I claim points my views on that topic). Nevertheless I thank you for clarifying your opinion on that woman. But in which our political views stands for I think is better to agree that we disagree.

In europe a conservative is not a republican (in europe a republican is simply someone who thinks a republic is better than a monarchy) so I guess we're not referring to the same type of political orientation. But on a broad sense, there's nothing stopping an atheist from being a conservative, maybe just not the american type. I always get these misunderstandings between me and americans because for me conservatism is largely different and in europe it equals american democrats
