"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.

Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped.

Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses.

Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder.

Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids."

I'm not surprised ... Pat Robertson did essentially the same thing when the quake struck Haiti ... and when Katrina hit New Orleans. I'm sure we could find numerous other examples of Christian schadenfreude going over the edge into bloodlust.

I'm pretty sure atheists would be missed a lot more than Christians. Imagine if Christians ruled the world...

Overly religious people of all stripes do tend to be bullies.

So I looked up how Ebola was spread. Somehow I doubt this is going to rid the country of atheists. Or homosexuals. Or people who watch porn. I think judging by the fact that it spreads through fluid transfer those most at risk are Christians, especially those who teach those ridiculous abstinence only sex ed BS.

The biggest trouble is: there are people out there who listen to that guy and agree and cheer and then repeat the same speech with their friends who also agree and cheer.
And then forget about it, until the next natural catastrophe and some other idiot comes up with the same old non-sense.
It is cyclical and these idiots never realize it.

As I recall, Pat also took credit for deflecting a hurricane from Virginia Beach and apparently onwards to a more sinful area.

He's a peach.

In France a politician (former) almost got sued for saying the same about ebola and immigrants (mainly Muslims), I'd sue a politician if he said the same about atheism, in fact I'd have tremendous support to do it.
