So your position---let me get this straight---is that it is more admirable to stick with something you know to be false or incorrect rather than amend your position as you learn new things? That somehow because scientists are happy (excited even!) to admit when they've gotten it wrong (and then proving how they corrected themselves!)---this makes them an unreliable source when seeking to describe the world in realistic terms?

And then on top of this, you are further claiming that the backwards bronze age mentality that comes with Christianity and your particular god is a good thing because you like to think it never changes? Do you still sell your daughters into marriage for a bride price? Do you stone people for minor infractions? Do you still burn "witches" at the stake? Do you still support the overt racism borne of Christian leaders in the south in the 60's? Of course your religion has changed.

No shit? I've often wondered what it is that we all -do- when we're not here./..lol. So the next time I accidentally lop something off, cant I count on you to give me quality advice from a professional perspective? Let me just say, in advance......that monitoring my lopping off, of "things", - is pretty much a full-time occupation. I wasn't born with any of the regard that others seem to have been born with concerning digits and appendices. I'm already missing alot of shit, and I can't say that I give -a shit-, which might explain why I'm missing shit to begin with, come to think of it.

Just about everyone I know is a college graduate honey. Many of them have post graduate educations. Hell, I have a post graduate degree (that BTW make me always right ). So does that make me right and your brother wrong?----Because the vast majority of PHDs in the sciences would disagree with him.

That's exactly my point. The definition of True Christians™ is constantly changing.

But how about the other point? All the things the Bible tells you to do but you don't do any more? Not harvesting crops for the first three years. Not wearing clothing with mixed fabric types. Women shouldn't talk in the church, you should murder apostates, etc, etc, etc. If Christianity is so unchanging and constant, then why don't you still do those things?

What has religion done recently?
Save my brother from certain death. The doctors said he was done for but through faith in God he completely recovered, even the Muslim doctor said our family's faith had something to do with it.

When you have to specify the religious beliefs of your doctor, especially when you state that it's different from your own, then that's just another desperate attempt to justify your claims.

I've worked with hundreds of doctors and I know the religious beliefs of perhaps 20-30%
