I used to play LOTRO, until I got kind of bored. I got VIP, right before Helm's Deep, and since they were expansions instead of new areas, I still didn't have access to them. Now we get Gondor, and my level 88 champion isn't high enough level.

I still dip into LOTRO whenever I get the time. It's got kinda dull since I completed all the free content I could find, though. My MMORPG of choice now is Star Trek Online, though even that's gone all weird since the recent updates. I wish they'd stop feckin' around with this stuff!

I quit around the time it went free-to-play. I paid for the game and all of the expansions (twice, two accounts), as well as sub fees on two accounts for several years, and with the move to FTP, I'd have to pay for certain content again? I stuck around for a bit longer, and took an extended break. When I logged back in some time later, the kinship had all but dissolved, and I couldn't rationalize a reason to play any more.
