I can think of one possible explanation. Angels were created with a desire to love God and have fellowship with him. Those that sinned and fell away from God because of sin were no longer able to fulfill this desire so they looked for a substitute. They were attracted to humans because we are made in God's image.

So god made angles who in turn looked upon god as if god is a bitch in a prison shower, but these angles are willing to settle for human women because human women are kind of like a inflatable sex doll version of god.

Given that biblical law only has a problem with raping women who aren't betrothed or married, having sex with these women may or may not have been bad in Yahweh's eyes. The question is, how could they have children with these women? Why would the children be so evil that nothing could be done except kill them all? Surely even the fallen angels weren't completely bad, since not much time had passed since they were kicked out of heaven. They wouldn't be much worse than Adam and Eve.

We really aren't given much information. The idea that they were angel/human hybrids seems more of an excuse than a legitimate reason for genocide. Besides, if any society is so corrupt that Yahweh can't figure out how to improve it without erasing it, he has failed. The flood was him admitting he had failed in his task, and even that didn't really solve the main problem.
