Not to mention we have WW3 that might happen between Russia and the US for some damn reason. If we are to combat this threat, we use either military or we can simply out tech/culture them however that will not happen.

Saudi Arabia?
Was hoping someone would say that. We can try to post up all high and might morally, but we're paying out the ass to the Saudis whose human rights record looks about as clean as a camel's ass.

Wow gaining modern equipment! Here is a partial list of currently active U.S. Military land vehicles.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cur...d_vehicles
Probably you won't have time to read all of that, because the list is fucking enormous. I'll give a few highlights though.
M1 Abrams Tanks: 6,344
Bradley Fighting Vehicle: 6,724
Humvee: 260,000 (Do they even have 200,000 soldiers?)
That's to say nothing of our airforce, or large nuclear arsenal. This is something that we can have because we have a functioning economy and a unified populace, none of whom are engaged in a civil war with us. I don't think we have to worry about ISIS overthrowing the US government anytime soon.

I don't think we have to worry about them attacking Baghdad any time soon.
They caught the Iraqis by surprise (how that was possible is beyond me) routed them (no surprise at all, really) and succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. They are now on the defensive and have taken a big bite of a very large shit sandwich.

That would be fine except that ISIS has threatened the U.S. The last time a terrorist group threatened the United States, they flew jumbo passenger planes into the Twin Towers and another one was flown into the Pentagon. It's better to fight ISIS in Iraq and Syria than it is having to fight them on our own soil.

Al-Qaeda was only able to bring the fight stateside because U.S. intelligence failed to follow up on the threats they were well informed about long before the attacks occurred. Intervention has only proven to destablize the Middle East further and strengthen both the numbers and resolve of these anti-West groups since 9/11.

Does anyone study military tactics or history? The very over confidence I see in this is why they can win. Also, we lost Vietnam and sort of Korea, both due to our over confidence and underestimating our enemy and several other factors.
The point is we need to take them out now, and also where in the world did you get the idea I said anything about then "over throwing" the US. All they need to do is make the Us think they are nothing and simply take over the middle east if they can that is. I will concede however the middle east is just another quagmire.
