RE: How do you deal with "tips fedora"?
Can someone please explain to me what is wrong with Budweiser

The Czech one: nothing wrong

The American one : It's fine, just don't call it beer

I've often wondered how Budweiser gets those horses to pee into the little openings in the bottles?

But Budweiser is a beer, what's wrong with it? It doesn't taste nice? I think thats purely subjective, I like the taste.

I'll take your word for it, I don't like drinking beer. Bourbon master race.

In fairness, Budweiser is a perfectly acceptable choice if you are making beer batter for fish. As for drinking it, I consider it an evil last resort (once the mouthwash and rubbing alcohol is gone). I just prefer a hop-pier, more robust beer. My criticism of Bud is the same I level at Miller, Coors -- pretty much all of the high volume American beers: it's watered down crap and my budget is too tight to waste money on beer I don't enjoy.

But to each his own.

Watered down? It's like 4%, isn't that normal for larger?

I speak loosely. It's "watered down" in the sense of being relatively flavorless.

All I can suggest is try some more robust lagers, if lager is your thing.

One of my favorite beers is the German "Optimator" from Spaten in Munich. Yum, yum..

Drink one of those and then a Bud. The Bud will taste like fizzy water.

Muahaha, the Optimator, what does that have, 8%? I can't wait for all the winter specialty beers. A nice malty doppelbock would be welcome right now
