Christians: Please explain the Exodus

So, what do you think would be the most likely reason archeologists are not able to find remnants of 2 million people in a small desert for 40 years, but they can find older encampments of much less than 2 million people in just as harsh conditions all over the world?

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

We've been through this at least twice before, and every conversation with Carm gets back to the same point. He says he genuinely cares whether his beliefs are true, then in the same breath asserts that nothing could possibly, ever change his mind about Christ and the Bible. It's a non-starter for any sort of discussion or debate.
In every country and every age, the priest had been hostile to Liberty.

Exhibit A: religion.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

You've already said you don't care if it's true, as long as it helps christianity along. The exodus thing is not doing that by a long shot, and this would have been easily cured by not mentioning moses at all.

I do care if exodus is true. I don't know where you hought I didn't

I thought you said as much. I'm on my mobile so I can't really check.

If I'm wrong I apologize and I'd like to rephrase: whats the use of the OT stories for a guy who came to earth to save all of mankind? I'm truly at a loss here. The jews to me appear completely irrelevant to a divine plan to sacrifice a guy for the good of all mankind.

You are christian right? Not jewish?

You may be experiencing the fruits of modern science (computer, long life, modern medical science, car, air flight, etc), but there is no question your mind is still in the Bronze Age.

Evidence? You accept the stories in Bronze Age texts, written by superstitious goat herders, over what the scientific method has actually revealed about the universe.

Pretty sure that it doesn't even matter - to jews....certainly Rabbi Wolpe doesn't seem to think so.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

So my question for xians is this: why should I disbelieve science and believe that a literal exodus is possible?

Wait... wait...
Weren't you a christian just a few months ago?!
