Christians: Please explain the Exodus

RE: Christians: Please explain the Exodus
-and you believe in many other ridiculous things as well. Nevertheless, it didn't, and there's no reason to die on this hill in service of christ. You've spoken before about the corruption of organized religion - well here it is, staring you in the face.....and what is your response? To stand at attention and sieg fucking heil, lol.
(wewt.....so long since god-won)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I agree. It does not serve Christ to quibble over ancient esoteric texts.

I think may favorite part of this thread (and there are many) is Drich claiming whole cities have been erased by the desert without a trace! How would you know a city existed at all if there is zero trace evidence of it? This isn't a groundbreaking question, it's almost the only one that follows

After looking it up (kudos), you come back with, and I'm paraphrasing, "Well, there is a trace, but we can only see it with satellites, but where's the pottery and graves!?!" Well, if we've only viewed this city's foundation with satellites, then there hasn't been a dig, so I'm willing to bet the graves and pottery are underground near the foundation. When using a ground penetrating imaging system, it's harder to conclude on smaller pieces and bits if they're seen; it's much easier to conclude on large structures.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Rhythm I have talked before about coreuption of religious leaders, the exodus doesn't benefit anyone financially but it benwfits ssome spiritually.

I am more than willing to die in the service of Christ? Don't forget that.

Perhaps you've forgotten that the exodus is one of those texts that jewish priests pointed to when collecting their fees......and one of those texts that con-men continue to point to while collecting their fees.....

And how, praytell, does a demonstrably false narrative sold as fact benefit anyone spiritually? There wasn't any other story that could've been told that confers this "spiritual benefit" - oh, I don't know...maybe something that actually did happen..it had to be founded upon a lie? For fucks sake....

What spiritual benefit do you receive by "believing" this horseshit? Quantify that for me, please.

While wondering in the desert during the exodus, it is the time when the 10 commandments are set. It also shows me the power of God.

Friend, arguing over unknowns online is not a service to anyone other than your ego. I would support your martyrdom if it actually was in service to Christ, rather than to your ego's desire to hold the 'truth' and claim it as an identity called "Christian".

I understand you need to believe this fairy tale to believe the rest of the fairy tale. It's a foundational fairy tale. Without it, the whole sweater unravels. I get it.

I would hope though, the fact that the expert consensus does not support the story would make you think.

They wouldn't be as meaningful to you had they been set at any other time, any other place? Perhaps...at a real time..a real place?

It shows you that gods power is imaginary..again, this shit didn't happen C4. Do you want to tie that to "gods power"? Perhaps pointing to something that god actually did would be a better demonstration of his power (and a better foundation for your belief in it)?
