The Proof!

I don't believe you exist but, if you do... prove it to me! Because I REALLY DO WANT TO KNOW!"

I was a Christian for over a decade as an adult. Nice try.

This old nonsense again?

How many times have we heard this, guys?

I used to be a very devout Christian and did just that.

Nothing.

Nada.

And don't go trying to say the follow up nonsense of "You weren't a true Christian™, or "you didn't try hard enough", or any of the other nonsense that usually gets repeated.

Surprised he isn't banned already just due to the sock storm we've been seeing lately.

When I was in transition I used to pray that I don't lose faith while having this weird feeling. It's like a reboot or something
What is that feeling called? Confusion? (Serious question)

And even then, it would be an equally shitty argument.
"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.

Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped.

Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses.

Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder.

RE: The Proof!
There is no objective proof for if there were, no one would be required to "believe" anything. Sort of like how 2+2=4. That doesn't require my belief to make it true.

Unlike "faith" and religion.
So your belief is not proof. Your desire to belief the Bible, is also not proof.

This thread's title is therefore...misleading. Angel

You'd have to demonstrate it was created and didn't just exist. Bare assertions will get you nowhere.

The world around us is proof of its existence and nothing more.

Agreed.

It should be entitled, "The claim"
