Bullying is a pretty big problem, and if someone tries to stand against it, they should be encouraged and guided, not punished.

She was fired over allegations she purposely insulted a students appearance and acted in a threatening manner. There is no real excuse for this.

Yes there is. I saw the picture of the boy. He was downright ugly, and I approve of her method. Not really, but seriously there is something wrong with a school board that is more concerned with the poor feelings of a shit stain bully over a victim of crap that should never be overlooked.

She had an obligation to maintain a professional demeanor, but what she did didn't merit termination, at all. Coaching on how to appropriately intervene seems much more reasonable.
