Re-opening thread.
I appreciate that personalities sometimes clash and that conflict is unavoidable, and that whilst we can't force folks to ignore each other, I would request that people (across the forum) reflect on when conversations stop being about an exchange of opinions and ideas. I am pointing no fingers, and neither am I saying that anyone is to blame. We're going to leave it at that for now. If anyone has any queries or comments I invite them to send them directly to me or another member of the staff. Fidel 
Back to the OP, there is music that I find enjoyable on some level and in some situations which I am aware are not great or authentic. Even if you establish an absolute standard of musical goodness, there is no imperative to follow it all the time, is there.
That being said, I have a very strong inner reaction when forced to music I find insulting.
