Judgement day defense strageity.

RE: Judgement day defense strageity.
Are you suggesting that "God" forgives unforgivable 'sins'? Or simply doesn't punish their commission?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

You said for you, there is nothing worse that Heaven. That eternal service to God would be worse than Hell. I simply pointed out that you do not have to worry about being placed in what you would consider to be 'worse than Hell.'

So this god is willing to be negotiable over unforgivable sins. Cool.

Good idea. Be sure to slap your face extra hard for me, won't you?

I'm guessing you won't be able to show any of your work though, huh.

Quote:Ah, so you don't have Book Chapter and Verse to support your version of salvation, just the fact that 'you don't think.'
I'm sorry...were you expecting an atheist to prioritize your bible....over thinking? I think that you might want to readjust your expectations.

Quote:That could be... If we were not having a direct conversation about the values/rules concerning the attonement process (plan of salvation) of the God of the Bible. All anyone need do is open the bible and read.
Many have, get back to me when you've all decided what the authoritative word is. I'll just remind you that I place no value upon it - of course- but at least then you'll have it.

Quote: Deity and Teachings of Christ They must go hand in Hand.. fore "Even the demons believe and tremble, yet will not inherit the kingdom of Heaven.."
Oh, I see. I'm starting to suspect that there isn't any exemption for worshipping your god the wrong way after all.......................................

Quote:Other wise know your right.. There are those who say the Jesus is the son of God, but they also say the elect members of that faith are also the sons of God of the same caliber that Christ Himself was... That God was at one time just some shlub who was faithful to his God and was given a world to rule over and as such they all will eventually be like God.
And yet more simply accept that jesus was divine, without all of your pet baggage that puts this little fib about an exemption to the coals.

Quote:The problem? Jesus did not teach that. He kinda claim He was the only son of God, and that salvation could only infact happen through Him.
You don't have a fucking clue what "jesus taught". No one does. Next.

Quote:In the end it is up to Christ to make that judgement. This judgement will be based on what those people were given to work with. God/Christ is not a fool, and what ever He decides I will stand behind even if a given person is not up to my personal standard.
Oh, not willing to give them the ole stamp huh Drich, just gonna keep that in the drawer for yourself? It was your goddamned claim to begin with. Get your shit together.

Do you know what tautology means?

MM
"The greatest deception men suffer is from their own opinions" - Leonardo da Vinci

"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)
