Green undertones versus red undertones. Start painting blacks and you have blue undertones. ----- It's easier to make flattering portraits with blue and green, if that matters.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

So we're probably talking about Mr. Spock and Lieutenant Uhura.

It's an old term and you can be very white and still olive. It's the green that's being referred to in olive though olive skin tans better and burns less than ruddy skin. http://www.wisegeek.org/what-is-olive-skin.htm

DQ is most likely olive given his country. How dark an olive is another question.

*goes off to put sunscreen on her pale but rather ruddy face, wishing her skin were olive.*

Was Solomon an Israelite or was he a Hittite?

I've done quite a bit of research especially into NT history, but also OT history and I'm not familiar with the "swarthy people" - did they live during NT times or OT times?

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
