I also figured if I was off a few months that it was worth the risk of being wrong, in order to be able to talk about it.
After all- you will still be here past that event.
Besides that, I was challenged right here on AF to give a prophecy.
I would ordinarily have kept my mouth shut, but you guys sucked me in.

Christians look forward to the time when Christ will reign, anyone who looks forward to the last days must be crazy, there has never been such terror in all of history combined, this will be a spiritual war, Satan and all his minions against Christ and all His angels. Powers will be unleashed that no man can imagine, John saw in a vision what will happen and he couldn't describe it, he was only able to reference what he knew as horrible and terrifying.
It will be a war everyone will join into, no murder, but there will be killing by the millions if not the billions. Many will die in disasters before the final war, no one will be considered innocent that oppose God in the finally. What I just described will happen right at the end and, then perfection will reign forever. This perfection is what I'm looking forward to.

God could fix all the problems right now, in an instant. But he doesn't. He chooses to drag it out through some bizarre theatre, and keep everyone guessing as to the performance date.

There was a time set when Adam and Eve sinned. God is not keeping us in waiting, Jesus gave us signs when the end would come and we're told that the generation in which it happens will know, Christians that is.

What a drama queen. What a prime douche. Give me his power and I'd sort everything out like that. (I just snapped my fingers). And I'm a crap load better at knowing what is good, fair and just than that hideous monster.

Really, with His power you might come to see why the timing is set for a certain time and why the exact time can't be revealed. Power like that can only be handled by a loving and understanding being, one who has seen the end and why it has to be the way it is. You lack the knowledge and have an attitude that would render you useless as God. You do not take into account all the eternity God has lived and knows much more than man could ever imagine.

That's actually a pretty common line of apologetics among christians. Helps them to deal with that adorable guy above, if he's not the one casting.

It's on the same lines the inquisition worked. The apologetic slogan back then was, the church doesn't shed blood. So they left the torturing and the burning to the secular authority doing their bidding.
