This again is what I'm speaking of, people who believe they do not need forgiveness, just remember Jesus warned people about this type of thinking.

You still haven't made the case of why I need forgiveness. "God says no man is good" is rubbish. I want a concrete example of what I did personally. There are warnings in the bible about several types of thinking because thinking critically must be discouraged lest the facade crumble.

God says no man is good, why, because you will be judged by the perfection of God and the laws of Moses. Only one man ever accomplished a sinless life and He gave that sinless life so others could receive forgiveness. No one can live up to the law, read it and see how you've done.

The perfection of god? The two do not belong in the same sentence. How could a being of perfection commit genocide? He regretted making humans so he blotted out their existence. Regret is not something a perfect being would feel because a perfect being would never make a mistake in the first place. That is the very essence of perfection.

God ruling over you has nothing to do with living a better life, turning one's life over to God's guidance helps us to to so. Seeing yourself as righteous keeps you from seeing God.

So acknowledging the good works you've done and seeing them as righteous is somehow wrong?

God is completely loving, He allows you to choose to stay separated from Him for eternity, He want force you to live eternally with Him. It's within the power He has, it's just not within His love to force you.
One thing you and many others seem to forget is it's God's creation and His purposes for the creation and the ways are set, no matter what you want to believe you can't change what God's will has purposed.

Live with him forever or burn in hell forever? Wow, what a choice from this perfect being. As for his purposes and his will, that's the typical Christian, mystical speak that says nothing.

People that wind up in hell do so for unforgiven sin, they choose to live with there sin. Unforgiven sin last forever and that's why there's an eternal punishment. God gives us the choice to live with Him forever or not to live with Him forever, in eternity there are only two places to live. One for those who sought forgiveness through Christ will be in heaven and, one for those who do not seek forgiveness, those who believe they are already righteous in their own minds. Jesus warned those who thought that way.

If you ignore the Holy Spirit, who is God, then it's not His fault. Your correct He does not make mistakes, He gives you the ability to choose righteously, but is you that believes it's not important to live that way and in that type of thinking comes the mistake, from you.

Dude wake up. He didn't allow me to be born. If your god is real he forced me to be born. Knowing that given the free will and the lack of evidence I would choose not to believe. He would have already known my choice and yet he would have created me anyways. Don't forget he's the one who created hell for the "evil" people that he created. Again, exactly like my ex husband.
