Huh, and here I thought Rexysexybecky was in the deep south, living in San Diego. I'll have to check a map.
Mean time welcome to the forums. I think you'll like it here but I don't know that I can show you.

Hello.
"The greatest deception men suffer is from their own opinions" - Leonardo da Vinci
"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)

Yeah, I suppose I'm not really in the "deep" south, but I've spent a lot of years in Texas, Tennessee and Kentucky, while only tid bits in what is defined "deep south", but I don't see much difference in Tennessee and Alabama. All of them are roughly the same.

Hey Strider. I'm one state over in Louisiana. I feel your pain, man.

Come come now, Tenn and KY and even Alabama have their own brand of redneckery not at all representative of gulf state redneckery. Texas is an exception, an aberration, if you will - in that it is generally representative of -all- redneckery.
Welcome aboard, btw Strider..if I hadn't already. I'm in Kentucky now, but I grew up in the deep south myself. I miss the spanish moss and the swamps (but not too many of the people).

What's the typical difference between a TX Redneck and a KY/Alab. Redneck?
