There are many false teachings out there but that is why we need Apologetics. Doesn't that verse mean that a Christian should always provide a polite answer to all who asks? I have actually considered posting that same verse to certain theists on this site but they tend to ignore any bible verse that disagrees with the point they are trying to make. I doubt a reminder from their own holy book will change them

Seems like you're putting the conclusion before the examination of the evidence there; that's backwards, even ignoring your ridiculous and unjustified assertion that your religion is under worldwide attack.

Christianity is under attack in places throughout the world (Middle East, East Asia), but not anywhere else, especially not in europe or the U.S. or indeed South america.
