God did a YouTube video once to answer that question.

God doesn't believe in himself and god would probably by his own standard is in hell or should be in hell.

That's priceless coming from someone that ACTUALLY believes a supernatural being can impregnate a woman.
Aren't you forgetting something, God is called supernatural.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

god is the most powerful being if he existed so does he or does he not have to believe in a higher power such as himself? if god didn't he is an atheist if god believed there is a higher power than himself he would be a theist.
so if god believed in a higher power shouldn't people praise the guy who made god instead.
It may not be that complicated. The Jewish religion was until the writing Of the book of Isaiah was a polytheistic religion. Around this time the scribes started editing out every god but Yahweh. They even edited out Yahweh's wife Asherah. If it were not for the Jewish scribes and their editing there should be many gods. Yahweh was the god of war, now He's God the father.
None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.

Dyresand. I need you to take deep breaths and try to form coherent sentences when making threads. I believe, from what I could make of your OP, that you're asking if god is a theist (as in he believes in a creator that created him), or if he's an atheist (meaning he doesn't believe in any higher god that created him). Seems like many people actually thought you were asking if god believes in himself. Sometimes your posts are very confusing.
If any religious god exists he is certainly far to arrogant to believe there exists any higher power that created him.
If it's just like a random power that created life bu doesn't participate in life who's to say what it thinks or if it's even capable of thinking.

If our reality came from anything, I would put my money on it being some sort of offshoot from another reality. Like it poked through and started something, or a bit of it broke off somehow.
After that, I'd go with simulation. I don't know of any other explanations that seem plausible yet.
These are just hunches of course, I'm not claiming to have evidence. But I can quite believe instead that our reality has just always been, in some form or other. Probably I'd say this is the most likely if I had to guess.
But I don't know enough of that fancy physics and cosmology to do better than hunches. I need to learn my ass some more when I'm up to it.
