Texas pastor who starved 2-year-old to death gets 99 years in jail

A Texas pastor who starved a toddler to death to get rid of a demon will serve 99 years in jail, the reports.

Aracely Meza ordered that the boy, Benjamin Aparicio, be not given food or water because she and the boy’s parents believed he was possessed by a demon. The boy was starved for 25 days before dying.

Hopefully his parents will be in the next fucking cell for the next 99 years.

Parents who believed in faith healing convicted for 2-year-old daughter’s death from pneumonia

READING, Pa. — The parents of a 2-year-old Pennsylvania girl who died of pneumonia have been convicted of involuntary manslaughter after prosecutors said they declined to seek medical care for the child on religious grounds.
Jonathan Foster, 35, and Grace Foster, 34, also were convicted Friday in Berks County court of child endangerment in the November 2016 death of daughter Ella Grace in Upper Tulpehocken Township, The Reading Eagle reported.
The Fosters, who remain free pending sentencing in April, attributed their daughter’s death to “God’s will,” according to a police affidavit.

Navy chaplain fired after being videotaped having sex at a bar



A Navy chaplain was removed from his post at a Marine Corps command last month after he was videotaped having sex with a woman at a New Orleans bar, USA Today reported Wednesday.
The Marine Corps Times first reported about the removal of Navy Capt. Loften Thornton for “loss of trust and confidence” last week, but did not disclose details of the case.
USA Today, citing two defense officials, reported that authorities were examining video that showed Thornton having sex with the woman at the Crown & Anchor English Pub in the Algiers Point neighborhood of New Orleans.
