So have most Christians.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

An atheist friend of mine played the organ for a church for years, until he had finally had enough. So he gave them thirty days notice to find a new organist. They found one and told him to bugger off. He's still waiting for his last pay check from the church, going on four years now.

As long as they are paying good money for professional services, I can't cotton to making any kind of a scene during the service. If the job isn't a good fit, move on.

My experience has been churches are pretty tight with a buck, regardless of their # of members and the size of their bank account, I guess I'm surprised they didn't have a member of the flock that could have been coerced to play for free.

You're pretending to be a christian to have the job right OP? Doesn't that make you a complete hypocrite? No sympathy sorry.

Out jesus them... Tell them they are all going to hell because they can't hear the real voice of christ and that they were all fakers.

(just enough truth to make them squirm!)

Tell them the "real" holy spirit is telling you that they are wrong and that you must leave them.

I've always held the opinion that atheist were like drug addicts, the weakest of the weak. If you want to believe in polytheism then the children of a lesser god.
None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.

Yea, even outside this subject, if you are not happy with something, it becomes hard to pretend and at some point you have to make that change otherwise you will simply stress yourself out. If I had not been fired from my last job I would have quit eventually anyway. The new owner was greedy dick and I knew right off the bat when he bought the place that he was all about money and he did't like what he was paying me. He was going to find something to pop me with no matter what and he did everything he could to make my job miserable.

As most of the times, you fail to make any sense.
