I'd rather not be in her shoes...

She built her whole career on being the crazy chick. Starting out with "Du hast den Farbfilm vergessen" back while still living in the GDR. I've yet to see soemthing that isn't freaky from her.

That reminds me. Back in 1979 she made an appearance at "Club 2", which was a long running talk show on Autrian national TV where she demonstrated female masturbation. It was huge scandal back then.

Well that's at least one sensible thing she's done, then Smile

Ok, it definitely wasn't the ISS, we've seen that many times from our back yard and what we saw last was much larger and brighter. Also the speed with which it went behind the house next doors roof shows it wasn't at that great an altitude(maybe a couple of thousand feet).

If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.

To judge height at night, you would have to have at least some concept of size. And speed may be as deceptive, since you can't possibly be positive of height.

True that, but it was easy to tell from the way it acted that it wasn't in orbit.

If it was orange, could it still have been something high-flying which was lit by the sun barely under the horizon? It would be the time I expect stuff like airplanes to be lit by the sun, or iridium flares.
