RE: Atheism - Try it, You'll Like It!
I was baptised Seventh Day Adventist, and know how hard it is for one to leave their church, so that was good to hear.

In other words, you suck so much that you managed to fail at something as simple as atheism. Not really something to be proud of.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Oh yeah? Then where's the hidden secret Church of Atheism, and how many times per year do we all congregate there?

Also... LOL at the "Hollywood Seventh Day Adventist Church."

Damn, I knew I was doing something wrong.

Interesting though, I wonder what his parameters were.

With all seriousness to JesusChristLover , trying out atheism won't really happen unless you actually start thinking outside the box and question the things you believe in the most, and yes, all those 2.1 billion Christians could be wrong .

"Former Atheist"
1. n, An adherent of a religious faith, whose insecurity regarding the fundamental lunacy of their beliefs when discussing them with atheists, forces them to attempt to invent credibility by pretending that they were atheists at some prior point before rediscovering the "truth" of Jesus Christ. Or Allah. Or whatever.
2. n, Virtually every single theist who has ever posted at Atheist Forums.

Quote:The former pastor of the Hollywood Seventh-day Adventist Church, who stepped down from his position in March of 2013 before embarking on what he called a “Year without God,” has concluded that he no longer believes that God exists.

In an interview with NPR, former pastor Ryan Bell said his year long journey took him from merely questioning the existence of God to arriving at the conclusion that there is no convincing case for the existence of God.

See? They can learn if you just pry their heads out of their asses for a while.
Obviously he A/S/K-ed too much.
