It saddens me when people don't reseach things for themselves. That thier default logic and reason is based in stereotypes and bigoted anger toward God.

Why not test what you've said here? Or do you not even know the religion you hate so much to even do that without looking foolish?

God could clear it all up for me by giving me all the evidence it knows will convice me to believe in it.

Angry at the stuff religious zealots get up to? Sure! Indoctrination, child-abuse, misogyny, homophobia, anti-science, anti-choice, privileged and rich institutions, anti birth control, logic-liteTM and rooted in flawed and contradictory superstitious presuppositions.

If God gives direction in business, then look at the business to see if it flourishes or fails.

If God gives direction if wisdom, and His word look to what is say, and how it applies.

If God gives direction in family matters look at the resolution and where the family is over time.

If these things are from God then the person who receives them will be better off than when he started. In truth when one receives direction from God all aspects of life are effected, so when one is successful in all aspects and attributes these successes to God, if you believe mental illness can also be a possible explaination then it is your job to identify what specific illness that leads itself to personal and business sucess and then provide proof of this illness.

How isn't god manipulating free will if it steps in and guides your direction/choice one makes?

If it has to step in and give direction then that would mean god doesn't care for the decision/direction you chose. Right?

Not only Do I not know that, I know it to be completely untrue. Never before in the history of mankind were children as protected as they are now.
Not only do most child protection laws date in the last hundred years, even a preliminary look at both ancient and within the last 300 years of archeology and anthropology shows that to be patently untrue.

A statement like that indicates to me that you've had very little secondary education, or else you've had a severe drinking habit.
