I've can honestly say I've never heard a Christian put forth the idea that they want to have their minds tampered with and their identity compromised by their God.

Neither is true, just your way of wording a blessing so it sounds bad, jealousy is what you have, heaven can be your's too.

Honestly, now you're starting to contradict yourself within the same page. You just said, your life was great after you kicked the habbit.

It is great compared to addiction, but that doesn't mean it can't get better yet!

That reunion want happen unless you come back, and they will have a new mind, new life, new name, new body and a new and better understanding of who they accepted as their Savior.

GC, you do of course realize that hell isn't a concept that Atheists believe in right? Repeatedly condemning us to hell doesn't make your points more valid, right? It just goes to show that you are willing to undervalue legitimate diseases in the name of your God. That's why Atheists want evidence of a God. We're not being dicks about it. Religion calls for an unrealistic approach on life; everything we have ever known is nothing compared to hell. Sure, underplay the severity of every single hardship, ever. That's cool.

To my fellow Christians why do you try and explain God through the only process these people will accept, when you know that God doesn't accept their way of, as they put it, "we need absolute proof of God," thinking. You know good and well what the scriptures say,"we are to testify to why we believe," none of use came to belief because we had absolute proof of God and we can't offer anything other than what scripture says and our personal experiences.

My guess is that your fellow Christians in this thread enjoy a good debate just like the atheists do.
