The REAL challenge

Hebrews 11:6

That is not contacting god. That is merely tricking the mind into thinking something is there when it is not. It comes as no surprise that you would prefer the comfort of fantasy over reality.

It is also no surprise that you missed the disclaimer:

Disclaimer: A/S/K/ing me to forego with reason and logic to believe with faith as a child would in fairies is not evidence of anything except your ignorance and gullibility.

Indeed. The mind is good at tricking itself, and assigning incorrect causality. This is the problem between making decisions with emotion rather than critical thinking. Emotions are not a reliable method for determining truth.

"I'll see it when I believe it"?

How is that any different from insanity?

Incidentally, I don't care for evidence of unprovable entities. If they want to stay defined beyond the scope of all possible detection then fine; let them have their game. It's evidence of their alleged interaction with the real Universe that I'm interested in. As the Texan Tank, AronRa, once said, "anytime this god reaches down into the mortal plane, it ought to pull its hand out dripping with physics." This is actually not an unreasonable expectation, since interacting with the world is something the character supposedly does all the time.

Conversely, if this god does not or cannot interact with our Universe, there's no difference to it not existing at all, so we can safely ignore it. I merely save time and do that now.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Would you accept that God is the only real proof of God?

It's best to be safe though, and adhere to every possible religion out of the infinity of possibilities. Just in case. I'm not gonna have much spare time Sad

Not in the sense that you are thinking.

If god could provide verifiable proof of his divinity for any and all to witness in a manner that did not require resorting to faith, perhaps.

All we want is testable evidence...

Thing is, we don't even know what we're testing for. We have no prior experience or data to compare to. It's not like there's God DNA information in the bible.

They need a tiny piece of evidence to get us started but there is none...

Depends. Would you accept that Darth Vader is the only real proof of Darth Vader?

And where would this proof be found? Inasmuch as I mentioned proof at all, of course.
