"The blog". I think we've already discussed that part and established it's not a blog but a news website. And you were talking about the news earlier in your post. so why did you call it "the blog"?

Like I said when people have nothing to contribute to an argument except how others grammar or spelling is not correct, well, they should just shut up and stay home. I find atheist misspelling and using bad grammar all the time and never point it out, it's called being nice, something foreign to you I'm sure.

And like Esquilax said, we have already given you our arguments which you refused to acknowledge and therefore we have nothing left to do but point out how terrible your spelling is.
And hey, at least we don't tell people to go to hell. It's not very nice.

Again you jump into the middle of what I write and make stupid statements, I did not say I supported the parents, my entire first post was about the wishy washy atheist here and as usual deflections come flying, typical atheist approach, most of you guys are as plastic as they come.
Like I said, I did not say I supported the parents, because if the blog was correct in it's facts the parents were totally irresponsible.

The only way an accusation of bias against the news would be at all relevant was if you're asserting that some component of the actual story was falsified; are you claiming that the girl didn't get chemotherapy at all, didn't go for alternative treatments, or didn't die? Because the parents' own statement confirmed that she did all three of those things, and those are the only facts we need to come to a properly justified conclusion on this issue, as the science on chemotherapy and its efficacy is easily accessible without recourse to news outlets, no matter their bias. As is research into these alternative treatments, and how they don't work.
You're seeking to dismiss claims that chemotherapy is proven to work, whereas native treatments (administered from accused conmen that run massage parlors as medical establishments) aren't, as wrong because they come from a source that you (baselessly) assert to be biased, but that's an irrelevant objection to raise, as we don't need to go to any news source to get information on this.
And are you denying that you were factually incorrect in characterizing the news story as a "blog"? Because it's not a blog, it's a national news media outlet, and yet you're still calling it a blog here. Seems like you too have a problem just admitting you were wrong.

I do not have enough facts from the doctors and parents to make a decision one way or the other, all I was trying to point out was how inconsistent atheist can be when they jump on the bandwagon without thinking and that I support parents being in all their child's medical decisions, but everyone had to get a burr under their saddle and defend the what I see as a wrong position on children and their parents.

You call it an inconsistency, but you're comparing apples and oranges. A lack of properly applied medical care can be, and has been in this case, lethal, whereas an abortion is not. Parents should be held accountable where their decisions lead to lethal effects, I don't see how anyone could argue against that, but when the stakes are considerably lower then we need to respect the bodily autonomy of the child, in the same sense that we'd be rightfully dismayed if a parent tried to force a child to donate an organ, say. I know these kinds of equivocations are theistic bread and butter, but when it's so entirely transparent you surely must know that every one of us will see right through it.

Might surprise you to learn that plenty of atheists think that abortions sought by minors should have parental involvement in that decision as well.
