Challenge regarding Christian morality

Justice is essentially fair punishment, hence an eye for an eye.

Throw the maniac in jail and the family suffers.

Execute the man, the family suffers.
Justice is impartial to all that, it just seeks to bring the scales back into balance, which is why it's depicted as blindfolded and holding scales. Those are consequences the man should of thought about before he decided to murder some one.

Where is the justice?
Surely you can't be suggesting that murderers go unpunished....

Where is the fairness for the maniacs family?
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

Justice because it solves one problem and creates another.

And where did I "suggest" that or even insinuate?

It sounds like that's what you're implying.

Damn you are dense. It was an A B C choice to demonstrate the fallacy of justice. Read some Plato sometime. Hell, read anything but that damn babble-book.

I take it you're replying to my initial question, and you're saying christianity offers no good morality except the obvious?

If so, cool Smile

I'm dense? You just stated that the concept of justice is a "fallacy", Although you're using that word in the wrong context, what else am I to conclude other than you don't agree with the concept of justice?

If this same Guy decides to jump off a cliff and dies, his family is put in the exact same position, does that make death a fallacy? No, death is the consequence of him choosing to jump off a cliff.
likewise if he decides to commit murder, having justice served is the consequence of breaking the law.

If you don't want to go to prison, don't commit murder, don't need to read Plato to figure that out.

How do you suggest we deal with murderers?

Send them to jail execute them punish them. The issue here is that there is no true justice when it comes to god because you can be a murder and pedophile and anything that is so morally corrupt and you can get away with it by putting it on good ol' boy jesus.
