It is impossible to live in civilized society while still obeying the bible. They'd lock you up, or have you executed. That's not because we're such sinful people. It's because most good people don't own other Human beings, rape virgins, or commit mass murder in their lifetimes.
The Bible has always stated that very few would be saved, Jesus gave the example of Noah where 8 people were saved....
And even then the ones that do make it, will just barely get in.

And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Yes, it's an overall failure on Yahweh's part. First his whole creation goes to crap because someone disobeyed him once. He floods the world, but sin still exists. He sacrifices himself to himself, but the majority of the world, and even the majority of his worshipers, don't even believe Jesus was the real thing. Not a very successful track record.

"punishment would be an "attack on Christians."
Then let's make it a severe punishment.

Just remembered that old line;
if Christianity were made illegal, would there be enough evidence to convict YOU ???
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Doesn't the fact that you worship a being who drowns babies bother you?

I think you forget that 2/3 of the Angels fell and would like nothing more than to destroy the earth, except they can't for the sake of the elect. God doesn't personally administer judgement, he removes the restrictions on the demons who are thrilled to do it.
This is illustrated by the prophet Micaiah concerning the punishment of Ahab for spilling innocent blood.
Quote:1 Kings 22
19 And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
20 And the Lord said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.
21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will persuade him.
22 And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
23 Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee.
But for arguments sake, if God was Malevolent, What are you going to do about it?

Treat it like I treat all imaginary beings: pay it no attention.
It's followers, however . . .

I'm going to not worship him, and have a clear conscience.

It's easy to talk big on the internet.
I suppose if a guy put a gun to your head and asked for your wallet, you'd refuse? I doubt it.
Yet you pretend to be Mr. tough guy in the face of eternal damnation, please.

Wait... sorry to jump in, but you're equating your god with a mugger?
