Didn't watch the Super Bowl. But an ad is a stupid thing to upset over.

That ad was excellent; gun accidents would have been a good addition.
The NRA has always stressed gun safety and has safety education programs specifically for youth.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.
I get pisses off when Americans do stupid thing, because us Australians usually follow them down the toilet.
I hope it doesn't reflect too poorly on me and my friends that we cracked up laughing at the nationwide commercial and couldn't stop until the next commercial break...
It's just... you know... we're expecting one thing, then get another... it's funny... The other one we cracked up for was "LocTite glue saved our marriage"

Don't worry, my friend. If this be the end, then so shall it be. (February 2, 2015 at 7:55 pm)thesummerqueen Wrote: Most people show up to watch the SB for the funny commercials. I heard most of the commercials were serious and people were bitching about it. But Game of Thrones! You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis.
Update: At school today, it was briefly mentioned among the students. Some were merely surprised, and some laughed. So, most Americans probably aren't actually butthurt. Stupid Twitter twits.

I mean, the majority of Super Bowl commercials were SO depressing this year... but should an advertiser actually have to deal with "backlash" because of it? Stupid!

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK "That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
Made me think of this promo scene from Billy Murray's Scrooged.
