On topic: Let's twist this question a bit. What if Jehovah (yes the real one; the one true god) comes down to earth and says that the jesus story has been taken a bit too literally than what he intended.
What would be you Christian response to this?
And yes, to prove he is the real Jehovah, he does some miracle shit as in the OT - like bashing babies on the rocks, etc.

When this happen it would certainly be (3). As Drich has stated this would be the anti-christ. In the scriptures we are guaranteed this can't happen to the true believers. Matthew 24:24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible even the elect. Red letters to show Jesus said this.
Funny how you would bring up a Biblical truth, was this a test of our knowledge of scripture, did we pass or do you have something else to spring on us.
Isn't it interesting you would choose to bring this up so near the end of time, or did you choose, could it be that God used you.

So it really is jesus as stated but it's not because you can't answer a simple question.
Have you considered a job in politics?
If your beliefs made an ounce of sense, very simple questions like this shouldn't take a text wall of evasion to deal with.

Right. Actual God incarnate, or a book.
Thing is, if the "real" God did appear to them, they'd have absolutely no way to verify that it was who they thought it was. How many magic tricks is enough proof?
