If they join and try to make a joke that doesn't go over, or if they don't realize that they should really make an intro post and start chiming in and get a cold response, or if they think they have a novel idea and will go toss it to the atheist horde only to find out we've heard it a thousand times. Yeah, I didn't catch on about the intro thread idea for a long time. Kichi gave me hints but I was pretty thick. It probably wasn't all that important to me. Seems okay just to join a conversation you're interested in. If there are interests in common, so be it. If not, try another? RE: Your first post &/or first kudos

I'm proud to say that The Reality Salesman popped my kudos cherry.
R.I.P. My first post led whateverist and bennyboy to suspect I was an "undercover apologist." http://atheistforums.org/thread-22329-page-2.html Lulz.

Wow, never realised anybody from this board had passed on. I remember somebody from .com was fighting cancer (Buckster?), but he also was banned shortly after that started.

Pretty sure you can always PM him to deliver that kick in the pants. Having a kiddo, a girlfriend and a dog is like the perfect trifecta of things to keep you too busy for forums.
