Pretty sure jesus historically looked like a arab and certainly not white.

He wasn't black or white, somewhere in between, but then I don't think there ever was a Jesus.

White skin and blue eyes and really, kind of girlish. and always with a pained "I died for your sins" look on his pretty face. Looked more like a commercial than a historical figure to me... but then again he probably wasn't one.

The church paintings in my mom's home town where we usually went for Christmas were painted in the 1930s and depict a kind of Leni Riefenstahl's wet dream Jesus. There has even been some controversy about keeping them or replacing them.

I've posted it before, but it's one of my favourites. It's a short documentary which gives a very strong case for the real ethnicity of jesus.

I've found the combination of a really plush 'high thread count' beard and absolutely no body hair to be pretty rare.

That Pope was pretty randy.
The series on HBO (or was it Cinemax?) The Borgias was all about his papacy. As I recall, Cesare Borgia either murdered his brother or was murdered by his brother. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
