Why would women want to join a Religion?

For example, if a woman grows up in a community in which females are strictly relegated to the kitchen and bedroom, any qualms a young woman might have can be smoothed over with an early enough installation of the "It's not oppression, you're still equal to men, you just have a different role as defined by <insert holy book>" explanation. Having a way to explain the unequal state of the sexes instead of realizing that it is simply unjust and unequal and oppressive could be very appealing to someone in the oppressed group (in this case women).

That is a good point. There are aspects of the quiverful movement that tell women that having children is putting arrows in god's quiver(yes, that sounds dirty). In their eyes, that makes endless pregnancies and childbirth seem like the woman is doing something very powerful for her god.

Christianity is a misogynistic violent religion - There are numerous passages in the bible telling you how much it sucks to be Female. Do women just ignore that?

(For Christianity we'll include all the major ones, LDS, every kind of Baptist, Catholicism, etc. etc.)

Judaism isn't any better. They take it all the way to gender separation in the synagogues.

Islam is just fucking nuts. Women are just slightly above property. Why the hell would any woman want to be Muslim?

I sincerely do not understand.

Women are always the first converts, regardless of what the religion is. The more whacked out the religion the more eager they are to join and fund it.

This is how it works and the best example is the illegal annexation of Hawaii.
Sent in crazy jesus folks corrupted women in turn corrupted most of the men.
US comes over yada yada more than enough soldier acctually did a poll made Hawaii a state
illegally. After that traditional Hawain culture was pretty much fucked up but not that much.
Even worse is what you apply christianity to third world countries.
Atheism is a non-prophet organization join today.

I don't disagree. But what evidence are you prepared to provide?

I reject your reality and substitute my own!
