For a Vulcan that is ridiculously young.

He is half human in that mysterious star trekkian cross-entire-evolutionary-tree-hybridization way

I've never even seen ST, but that's a shame.

Nothing to add

I'll see your irreverence and raise you. I too was growing up when the original star trek came on the air. Didn't like it. Even then I gagged every time Kirk got his Shakespeare on. Now the second generation was another story, much much better. Almost any program or movie are 100% better off without William Shatner in them.

Probably a bit older than me. In my country it didn't air till the early 70ies and I was about 7 or 8 when it did. I wasn't that critical at that age.

When I look at it now, especially Shattner has all the acting talents of a telephone booth. Today I would also vote for the next generation, but the original still brings forth fond childhood memories.

I was too young to appreciate him in Star Trek but he was an icon non the less. I thought him to be invincible, just like Stive Irwin. The world is a slightly darker place for his absence and will never be the same.

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House

“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom
