I'm puzzled as to why he thinks he is "arguing" or why he uses some of the words to describe what he's doing. Literally everything he says continues to be reduced to nonsensical rubble and he's completely oblivious to it. Combine that with your observation, and I think he's a clear example of The Dunning-Kruger Effect. He's the sort of person who could convince himself that he's an expert electricians while being completely unaware of the repeated electrical fires and constant useful shocks that result from his work...
