Are ever too old to play video games?

RE: Are ever too old to play video games?
When I was 18 the first Halo came out and spawned a very addictive competitive gaming scene. I spent '02-'04 playing nonstop and winning some decent money. When life started happening, I saw that it was time to cut back. But that type of competitive gaming is hard to break away from and that's what I see a few a my friends having trouble handling.

Other than that, I too just view them as interactive stories. No need to give them up. Hell, I couldn't give them up if I wanted to now; my daughter won't venture into caves without me.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Age has nothing to do with your hobbies, but responsibilities in life do force us to resist those temptations from time to time. Personally I love playing games on my laptop, and don't bother with consoles because I am afraid of getting too hooked on them, but I do maintain a schedule of what to play and when. I also love ghosts, and anything horror related!

No way! I've played games since I was 5 and I'm still going strong at 37.

Growing up means hopefully becoming more responsible, but it doesn't have to mean being boring and denying yourself harmless pleasures.

I actually find it strange to think about people who don't play games, my mind says, "But what do they do then?" :p

Play some Outlast, and the Whistle blower DLC. Very nice horror games that I've seen Let's Plays of.

I just finished assassin's creed 2. Then I spent an hour making in my garage making a retractable, functional "hidden blade". Why? Because fuck all a y'all, I wanted to, that's why.

Games consoles do cost a fuck load of money, but I love challenging computer games.

I have sold most things I had to do with computer games. I sold my last console, a playstation 3, because the only game I used to play on was call of duty world at war and I got so good at it but then the hackers came and fucked it all up. I sold my playstation in anger and haven't touched a playstation or another console since and that was a few years ago.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

I love assassins creed. I haven't played number 4 yet, I've read it is awesome.

I love assassinizing people, yeah! Kill them all! I like killing just enough innocent people to not desynchronise. Frequently.

Never. People stop doing all kinds of things they love after getting married and having kids, but that's wrong.

I'm almost at the 35 mark... and I still enjoy computer games.
Although, I'll tell you can't bring myself to buying a console which has the sole purpose of playing games... each game then sells for a fifth of the console itself... Five games in and you spent the equivalent of two consoles! And then you end up playing one, at most...
HELL NO!

PC, for me.
And I've been spending a lot of time with a nice free-to-play game: World of Tanks.... and a few of those facebook time-wasters.... all free.
Ok, so, on occasion, I download a game to check it out and then find my computer isn't powerful enough for it, so why should I buy it? Tongue
I downloaded GTA IV, at the time... it wasn't that better than GTA III, but ran awful on my machine, so I removed the 9GB of heavyware from my HDD... Got to know the thing, found it wasn't for me, trashed it - never spent coin on the attempt.

I've gone to computer games, myself. Though I intend to get a 3DS soon, because I want something portable and I'm tired of my old games. On old, worn out gameboys.
