Christians, would you buy this NT?

You're probably aware that the NT is a bit goofed-up.
- there are the genuine letters from Paul and the phony letters from Paul
- the verse in Mark about snake handling doesn't belong
- the verse in Corinthians about women keeping silent doesn't belong
- 2 Corinthians is actually 4 or 5 letters and one of them isn't from Paul
- ... I'm sure that is only scratching the surface of the problems scholars have found.
What if you could buy a NT that was as authentic as possible based on our modern research?
- Pseudo-Paul letters would be eliminated as forgeries
- 2 Corinthians would become 2.1 Corinthians, 2.2 Corinthians, 2.3 Corinthians, etc.
- 2 Peter, 2 John, and 3 John would be eliminated as forgeries
- Sections of the gospels that were probably added later would be eliminated
What do you think? Does something like this already exist? If you're going to be a Christian, you might as well use a Bible that is as accurate as possible IMO.

I like the serpent part.
And it should remain in the bibble til we get a whole bunch more Christers trying it.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I'm not getting a warm fuzzy feeling contemplating that some bibble books and verses are less fictitious than others.

That's a really good idea. Why would christians want known forgeries in their book?
Sadly, the resurrection is likely a forgery too, so... Maybe we let them keep that bit :p
A while ago I offered the theists here to remove the parts of the bible that condone slavery. They didn't like it.

Watcha, are you familiar with the parable of the talents?
It's the one where God takes responsibility to what He gives us and in return holds us accountable to what we have been given. The bible can verily easily be considered a talent/something of great worth that we have been entrusted with.
Do you remember what God did to the one who buried the only thing he was given?

Do you remember what God did to the one who buried the only thing he was given? Here is my take on the parable.
Quote:Master, you enstrusted us with Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Philippians, 1 Thessalonians, and Philemon.
See, we have gained Colossians, Ephesians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, and Hebrews!
