When will the Middle East become majority Atheist?

It's a bold question, I know. But let's talk long term; in 100 years time, or even 500 years, realistically, how Atheistic would the Middle-East be?

I don't see them becoming just secular in the next 50 years

Hmm, well...

In my non-qualified opinion, it's going to take some huge revolutionary event to turn some of those countries around even to secularism. And it actually seems some parts are going backwards. If I had to guess I'd go with about 300 years before it's decently secular.

If anything it could aggravate and deter them from the West even more, making the situation worse. Pushing usually results in being pushed back.

Islam is a highly invasive communicable disease. The disease is extremely resistant to treatment. Usually the only way to keep it from spreading is to quarantine and destroy the host.
