If there is a creator, so what?

Looks like the Christians ran away from the challenge, not surprising. Christianity is intellectual bankrupt even if we assume theism is true.
It is very important not to mistake hemlock for parsley, but to believe or not believe in God is not important at all. - Denis Diderot
We are the United States of Amnesia, we learn nothing because we remember nothing. - Gore Vidal
It seems so, no one wants to touch it.
Remember that accepting there is "a creator" means it created our universe/reality, it doesn't mean it hand crafted humans. Anyone got anything for me? Feel free to send me a private message.

I may sound harsh or unfair but it seems to me that certain people crave attention and feeling of being important so much that they subliminary try to put themselves into the center of the Universe. One of the ways to do so is to make Earth special by saying that it's the center of Creation. RE: If there is a creator, so what?

Oh, certainly. The idea that God is not just interested in our speck of a planet but in the individual lives is incredibly arrogant. In their defence, we spend so much time wrapped up in our human affairs that it's easy to forget our position in regard to the whole universe.
People like to feel special, that their life really "matters". Of course, it does matter to everyone around them, and it's sad that it takes validation from an invisible man before it's enough for them. If the universe ended just a little bit out from the Earth in each direction, then they'd have a bit more of a case! Feel free to send me a private message.

I seem to have taken to posting using nothing but memes and other images lately, so here is another.
And I couldn't agree more.
You go Hitch, we can't top your words.

Currently I see no reason to conclude that there is. Well, I always thought that observing the world would lead you to one outcome : what you mentioned as the possibility of the existence of the entity i.e intelligent design. Yet, checking truths which aren't visible -such as time- and how it actually keeps counting, might lead you too that the entity does actually exist until this day ; though, this also isn't a strong evidence. If I suspected an entity such as god existed, then heard rumors that this entity "DID" communicate with humans, I would give it a try to investigate what the entity said ; though, hell & heaven along with the afterlife concept itself is what would be the main concern that make you care. Give it a try how? Shout up at the sky? Think thoughts?
I've tried every method I can think of already and got nothing back. I have no way of knowing if anything is being received, or if there's anyone there to receive it. Feel free to send me a private message.

Would you mind explaining what is it about the afterlife concept that should make me want to care?
