RE: Healthcare=Passed
I saw that, actually it was the house that passed the healthcare (the senate passed theirs late last year), so now that is left to do is for Obama Nobama to sign it.

They had to butcher it so much to get all the support it needed that it will probably get lost in the beauocracy, and not be effective.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Health Care Reform has passed
Health care reform has finally passed. Long story short, it's not a perfect bill, it lacks a strong public option, but it does fix some big problems with the insurance companies and help to cover millions of people.

RE: Health Care bill passed
I'm not sure why it will take so long to get this going. Really the passage of this bill will affect me very little at this point. I still have a $1250.00 per year deductible, that wont change, in fact it might get worse. My co-pay will still be $30.00, $50.00 for a specialist, I guarantee it will go up. My son's meds co-pay will still cost me $195.00 for a 90 day supply, that will go up too. The only things that will affect me right now are the million dollar life time benefit cap is gone and my son will get to stay on our insurance until he's 26 years old. But we are some of the lucky ones that have health insurance threw my husbands employer. There is no way we could get insurance otherwise because both my son and I have pre-existing conditions. That little catch wont go away until 2014. I just hope that someday this will lead to universal health care and we can get rid of those blood sucking insurance companies.
